Responds to communications from guests, travel agents, and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, telex, cable, fax, or through a central reservation system. Creates and maintains reservation records-usually by date of arrival and alphabetical listing prepares letters of confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications.
Car rental agents handle all the administration and enquiries involved with renting vehicles to businesses and the public.
As a car rental service, our work would generally include:
- dealing with customer enquiries about the availability and cost of vehicles
- taking bookings and explaining the terms of rental or leasing agreements
- completing paperwork with the customer and taking payments
